I made a tutorial for people that don't have their game folder sorted properly. I recommend that everybody should make their MW2 folder look exactly like this before posting any more errors. Thanks ToolBox for the original photo.

/map mp_rust That is all that is needed. You can do the gametype war or whatever you want your gametype to be. People can just connect via IP and PORT. sorry, but that doesn't work. When i try to launch a shortcut only with +map mp_rust it crashed the game. Also tried with a server.cfg, still the same tho

new question: What is the console command to start a private mach? For instance, i want to make a batch script, so when i run it, it will make a private match on rust(let's say).

I am currently speaking with a few major hosting companies, and they are asking for some sort of proof that 4D1 is a legal modification and that there wouldn't be no legal issues for them to start selling MW2 4D1 servers.
