Hello,

 

My problem is that i cant change the resolution or game settings.

Every time i do that it says: DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error. Check the readme file for possible solutions.

 

I have tried to re-install, but that doesn't help.

And i have te latest version of directX.

 

It is really annoying because the resultion is terrible and everyting is on high and shadows is on so its laggy.

I cant play this way.

 

I hope someone knows how to fix it?

Do you have Xfire or any other things that have an in-game overlay?

You can't change your resolution in-game. It's a bug.

 

• Go to your /players/ folder in your MW2
  
• Open config_m2.cfg in a text editor
  
• Use CTRL-F and type in r_mode
  
• Change the value in the "" to whatever resolution you want
  
• Start your game
