When I play MW2 on 4D1, i usually have a ping of 60-80.

Somehow, without visible reason, my ping often goes to 999 for about 5 seconds,

and I start moving weird all over the map.

This happens whenever I play on the map Terminal.

My FPS are about 90, so this is not the problem.

Also, I checked for apps running in the background that could cause that lag, no results.

 

Can anoyne help me?

I used to have a rather shitty ISP which would cause my ping to 'spike', which is exactly what you're describing.

try TCP Optimizer,it fixed the issue on Steam MW3 and should work on every game

Sometimes the problem is is that when the server that the game is on, disregards your IP for a short time. You get problems like this often because 4D1 uses multiple servers, so your only option to fix this is make sure that you are on local servers (Low Ping like you are). Also not sure whether it will help or not but you can try deleting your caches.xml file and then starting 4D1. Its located in C:\Users\*username*\appdata\Low\IW4M\caches.xml

 

That also helps for a minidump error if that also happens

also happens to me, but mine is longer (like 2 15-min full games long) and that length happens mostly on terminal too. Highrise does lag me out but shorter like 30 - 5 mins.
