Well, I'm curious to know what you think of our community.

 

Only for the in-game community though. Not the forum part!

 

My opinion:

 

It's made up of incompetent kids. Mostly kids, though. They just care about playing the game for free. Plus, they just call everyone 'fags', 'noobs' 'retards' etc. Every game I enter, there's a person there who calls me a cheating fag and such. I mean come on, you expect no one to be better than you? After all, people like TBNRfrags play here, and rechyyy too. There's just a hole in the whole 'free' part of 4D1. It attracts a lot of idiots.

And the fact that makes it easy to cheat makes 4D1 popular for them.

well that depends on the server you chose

I like prodigy's server a lot ( even tough it's full of guys way above my league) it's has nice mods and people don't say much to strangers ( unless you provoke them first )

So yea it attracts idiots but with some careful picking you can still find the best parts

I disagree. I'd like to use cg_chatheight or whatever, but I do chat with friendly people sometimes too. So that's out of the question, and no, basically every server is full of em'.

Whenever I actually play (which is, at the moment, almost never) I always end up in a match with some kid typing "noob" or "faggot" in the chat every time he gets killed. I understand that there will be kids that get angry and shit, but honestly.

2. No one is forcing you to stay in that server

3. If you easily calm down you may not suck so much at the game

 

But these kids don't seem to get that. I also bet a chunk of them may have come from console (or are fairly new to PC gaming), probably believing that every PC player has a copy of 1337h4x.exe on the ready.

It's not bad for the most part, not enough people in free for all a lot of the time.

 

The only real problem I have is the lethalgaming servers. The admins there get butthurt if you start killing them so they'll ban you and claim you're camping spawns. So yeah, great community, as long as you stay away from lethalgaming, then again, who wants to play on a server full of sore losers anyway? I imagine they'll piss off the wrong person one day and be dealt with by Anonymous, much like the way Playstation Network was dealt with last year by Anonymous.
