It's normally just adobe-stuff 1&2 After Effects or for 3d C4D. 3. Is Photoshop.

If it's about price get gimp or inkscape for 3 and for 3d animations blender.

And another question, Whats the difference between Cinema 4d and after effects.

 

Cinema 4D is for 3d Animation and modeling, while After Effects is for cutting movies/videos and creating 2d animations.

1. Sony Vegas for overall editing, Adobe After Effects for special FX (explosions, chroma key, etc.)

2. Adobe Flash

3. Adobe Photoshop

 

Cinema 4D is an application for 3D models, After Effects is a special effects editor. Two completely different things.
