Ok so this thread is not an error about no steam etc etc.

Pretty much the game has worked for me but stopped working and now whenever I go to play the console opens and then hangs at steam authentication and I have to manually close it D:

Might just be a bug I have reinstalled and it worked for one time and then next time I tried to open it but it started crashing again.

The game is still not complete yet.

Errors or Bugs probably won't be an issue at the moment.

Just wait for a full release.

Are you trying to start IW4M without steam open? Because When I try and run IW4M without steam, it hangs like you described.

 

Solution, Have steam open, and your account set to Public
