Ok, as I was playing IW4M with my friend, he said that I was on his friends list, and that I was online, which I was, but I went to look at my friends list, and I had nobody there, so I went to the website and added him, he accepted, still no friends on my friends list, but I was still on his, and it told him when I went back on IW4M, any way I can get him on my friends list?

you need to add him on Steam, as for now, we use Steam friendslist.

What from 4D1 to Steam MW2? No.. they need to be on 4D1 if you want to play together.
