i tried to play some iw4m, but i wasnt able to connect to the eu server, because my client seems to be impure cause of the iwm2_demo_08.iwd

if i delete it i cant see the server browser

also the us snd server works fine for me but the other 2 always kick me because of the impure client.

Did you try reinstaling the game?

i didnt try it yet but why can i play on the us snd server but not on the other 2, which (i think) have the same sv_pure settings ?

Why is the demo file, a .iwd?

I can confirm this, it seems joining some servers will corrupt this important file. it's suppose to be an iwd. look in the m2demo folder and you will find it, can someone post a link to a working one, make back ups!

Just delete everything in your m2demo folder. the raw.iwd includes everything you need.
