cant apply my monitor configs

ya so i try to put the game setting like to set my screan to 1920x1080. but then i apply the game crashes n makes like 5 other IW4M and everything becomes black ... help plss

Open your /players/ folder in your MW2
Open config_m2.cfg with Notepad (or Notepad ++)
CTRL-F for r_mode
Change the value in " " to whatever resolution you wish.
