Hello community!

 

I need a help on getting rid of this persistent blank error that I always getting everytime I test the mod that I currently revising so I can move it to fourdeltaone. Sorry for reposting if this error had already been posted.

Is there any way to fix this? I don't get this error if I am testing my mod in an xp machine. I only get this in a Windows 7 computer.

Try to set "developer 1" in the config. This may allow a detailled error message.

Hmm, someone else had this problem as well.

Okay I did something desperate move... It's not something advisable for those who do not understand what they are doing. I read it from other forum, somthing like getting rid of .dmp and I apllied to this problem.

 

here is what I did:

 

1) renamed iw4mp.dat to iw4mp.dat.bak so I can get back to it later on.

2) I then run the launcher. The result was that the game picked up some updates to 4d1 like 5 seconds duration untill it finished the download.

 

3) renamed back the iw4mp.dat.bak to its original file extension.

 

4) re-Ran the game and seems like the game stopped crashing...

 

well! As I have said that's a desperate move. and I don't think so if that made the game fixed I still have to monitor the game behaviour again. and get back here...

 

Edit:

Okay guys I did observed my game for about 2 or more hours now and this dirty trick seems really did some kind of miracle. I can now map_restart, \disconnect, and map_restart again without the .dmp and the blank error appearing. I can now even play and test my mod in much much longer time without the game crashing.
