I downloaded a mw2 mp only game off the internet. i hv 2 gb ram 1 gb amd graphic card enough space but the only glitch is i am using xp and wen ever i click on any .exe file it says application initalization failed .exe error. wen go to iw4m and input my username and password , then the iw4m console opens and the screen blacks out and then the game closes with an DUMPING error msg. What should i do?........if u hv any link to mp cod mw 2 that will surely run on xp plz tell.........on this same sys wen i was using windows 7 it gave no probs....

Make sure that you have .net framework v3.5 AND v4 installed.

Also, make sure that Visual C++ is installed (I assume that 4D1 uses v2010, but install v2008 aswell, just in case).

Remember that you CANNOT have .net framework 4 installed if you want to install v3.5. Unninstall v4, install v3.5 and then reinstall v4.

I actually thought that it was already set up to work with Windows XP, so I had no real other solution if it was not initially working.

I thought XP wasnt supported? And im feeling a little butthurt right now. Well, at least i know that for next time.
