Trying to get a server running and im getting this error in the console .

I think (I think too much lately :mrgreen: ) a spoiler needed about cases like this, but there is no bb code for the spoiler in this forum, only NTA can make it, or someone who have access to the admin panel.

ok i did all that you guys just told me 2 do and still the error from the start..Can someone show me what the file (m2demo/maps/mp/gametypes) is to have in it. Cause with the error below i dont have that file in there. so if it is to be there then where can i get all that i am missing?

Maybe it's a stupid question, but i need to ask you: did you run the game before you run the server and does the game working? I'm asking you, cause when you start the game furstly from LaunchIW4.exe, the game will be update and all the files you're missing will be downloaded.

yes the game does work ,but for some reason i am still missing files is there a place where i can down load the m2demo folder manually ?

Ok just wanna know how many files are in your m2demo folder i have 100 files,15 folders and its 19.4MB.

I don't think so, try to delete m2demo folder and start the game again from launchIW4.exe. If the files are still missing, i can send to you, but not right now, because i'm working now. Just check your PM time at time.

ok tried that and still not getting all the files , this is Bs lol .... ok can you plz give or tell me where i can get all the files i should need for me to be able to start a server. I dont know why they dont just download for me my game works fine but get the same error when i try to start the server...

1. Delete caches.xml

2. Delete your m2demo folder

3. Run the Dedicated server updater

4. Run your server shortcut as an administrator.

Just to report this thread as fixed.

His problem was with his server.cfg (in case that anyone else ever have the same problem)
