When I run Mw2 I get 100% CPU usage, is this just me or is everybody having this. My GPU usage is on at about 35%, this doesn't happen in MW3 or other games apart from BF3 because my CPU isn't good enough for that lol

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ 3.2GHz

GPU: Nvidia GTX 260 (Slightly under-clocked because of heat issues)

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit

Edit: I just loaded into the game again and it seems to have gone, my CPU is now at 80-90% and my GPU is now 65-90%

Does anybody have any ideas why it was happening?

Good luck using CPU from 2006.

AFAIK the intel q6600 i have, was also released 2006 or early 2007.

Runs the game without any problems. Well, it has 4 cores and i tweaked the shit out of it...

4x 3,7Ghz instead of 4x2,4.

So its not really comparable. But still the game is definetly playable with an "old" cpu. ;)

I could play this on my old laptop (lowest settings though), I think I bought that laptop somewhere around 2004 or 2005. Needed to mod my gfx card with a program but it was enough to run it. So I suggest doing what yolarrydabomb said, run a game boosting program and close all other programs you do not need.
