I'm sure the reason Activision gave a damn about AlterIW was because of the choice to modify their latest, record breaking titles, Black Ops and MW3, is it really smart to go about the same path without the fear of Activision breathing down your neck, regardless of it being legal or not?

Well, technically, MW3 already has dedicated servers EXCEPT ZERO PEOPLE USE THEM. So, maybe it is risky. My opinion doesn't match to NTA's
