I've been looking for a gsc script that disables martyrdom, grenade launchers, and final/last stand. I didn't have any luck finding exactly what was looking for. While I found one script that disabled the aforementioned things, it also disabled some other things which i did not want disabled. I tried looking over the code and removing the lines of code that disabled other things, but the code seems to be much more complex than what I expected.

 

Not knowing anything about gsc files or mods for MW2, I need to make a request for someone to code the script for me, or at least help me out with it. From my past experiences with learning coding languages, it's not something that on learns in hours...

In case anyone is wondering, I don not want to use the Anti-Noob mod because I feel as though less players would join when they see this, due to some not liking the mod, some having the filters set to TDM or mods off, and some just sorting by gamemode and scrolling straight down to TDM, thus skipping my server. I don't thing that I would be "cheating" players by not using a mod, because I feel that Anti-Noob isn't really a mod, it's more like a plugin just like an admin menu.

Well, thats very simple. Can be done in 2 min. through _class.gsc.

Not sure if it disables all the thing you want, as the title says weapons/perks but gl is not a weapon its an attachment.

grenade launcher (the attachment, not sure if you want thumper and such disabled too)

last stand

final stand

martyrdom

 

 

Just put the .iwd in your servers m2demo folder or in main folder, both should work.

It will show the normal gametype in the server browser if you do it like that.

I also forgot about thumpers, but it's fine. You can fix it if it's no problem. As for the grenade launchers, I know they are attachments, I was just trying to simplify the title.

It doesn't work if you put it in the main folder, only in the m2demo.

 

Oh, just a question, where is the _class.gsc file located? I've been looking for this.

You might want to take a look at this:

If you use that mod you just have to set this in your server.cfg to disable all killstreaks:

 

set scr_allow_specialty_copycat "0"
set scr_allow_specialty_combathigh "0"	//painkiller
set scr_allow_specialty_grenadepulldeath "0"	//martyrdom
set scr_allow_specialty_finalstand "0"

 

Works the same way for weapons and such...
