Hey everyone , b3 is a great admin plugin for mw2 and today ill be teaching you how to install it for your dedi server

 

Before we begin please download wamp here : 32 bit = http://tinyurl.com/d6x2bje

put it as online and start all services and we are moving to B3 now

 

First step download b3 installer using this link : http://tinyurl.com/c2fzv2h

 

Second step : install b3 ANYWHERE youd like

 

Third step : when installer is done and asks Run b3 or update database uncheck those

 

Fourth step : go to this URL : http://config.bigbrotherbot.net/ and lets configure the bot now

 

Select your game (modern warfare 2 ofcourse )

 

Bot name : you can choose it to be anything but just for a check leave it as it is (b3)

 

Bot prefix : leave it as it is

 

Time format : leave it as it is

 

Time zone : enter your timezone (sometimes after b3 is configured and started you will get an error of timezone , so if you see your timezone makes b3 stop working use CST instead)

 

B3 log file : Head over to C , D (wherever youve installed B3 ) and go to b3 folder , Copy the folder url and put it like this : Example C:\Chad\BigBrotherBot\b3.log (this is just an example do not copy it)

 

Log level : i usualy use level 9 but if your an expert go ahead and choose what youd like

 

Database settings : this is where we head over to WAMP and left click it and go to php my admin

now we need to go to import (has the wrench emblem) and select "select file" , go to b3 and go to sql folder , load b3_db and press go under the page , once that is done click b3 at the left side of the page

and go to import again , load up b3 sql and b3 update to 1.8.1 sql , now we are going to go back to phpmyadmin and select Privileges , go ahead and add a new user , call it B3 , username root , host local

and your desired password for that user , after that click Grant all privileges on that user and make sure EVERYTHING is checked , now lets go back to b3 config file page and continiue

 

username : root

password : the password entered at phpmyadmin for username root

host : localhost

database name : b3

 

Game server settings

ok after youv'e configured your dedicated server for mw2 we need to go to our server CFG file and search for this line : set rcon_password "" , at the middle of the quotes we need to put our password , enter your desired password (make it a 6 number one , dont ask why just do it)

 

Now lets head back to b3 config file page

Rcon password : the password weve configured for our dedicated server

server port : usualy 28960 but some people want other ports , again its your choice for what port

public ip : head over to here and copy your ip http://www.whatismyip.com/

Rcon ip : usualy you can find it at CMD , head over to CMD and type ipconfig , after you can see everything is up , search for ipv4 and write at rcon ip (usualy its 192.168.1.something but everyone has something else )

 

Auto Doc settings

this is b3 settings , head over to B3 folder and search for a folder called Docs

copy the url to that folder

Auto doc type : HTML

max level : 100

Destination : select local file and paste the url to the folder before /b3_docs.html

 

Built in plugins

this is the final step , there are rules listed and you decide what rules to apply on your server

usualy mark every each and most important allways mark xlr stats , after that is done

select save config , after it is downloaded as B3.xml put it here : C:\BigBrotherBot\conf

 

Now we are done setting up B3 for your dedicated server , for xlr stats i cant help you i dont use them either so....
