(poor english incoming )

I have a problem, when I'm trying to play the singleplayer of cod4. The game starts normally, but when i try to load a mission, it loads for a short time and then i get a blackscreen. And i get this error in the console:

Exceeded limit of 6144 "localize" assets.

A few days ago, it worked without any errors or crashes and on my old computer it worked aswell without problems.

I would be glad if someone would have a solution for this

You changed any files,or installed any mods?

Google didn't help me here so far.

I only have some mods for multiplayer, but i never changed anything singleplayer related.

 

Edit: i just started a new campaign, and it worked till the point were it crashed before and i got the same error.

Try reinstalling.

What's your language version?

I got the german version of the game. I'm gonna reinstall tomorrow, and see if it works then.

Use a more up-to-date SP executable, possibly.
