Does anyone have a working votemap mod or could get me started on making one? if we have kick and ban in 4d1, map voting would be a good thing to add to the project as well.

 

probably just the same as this:

 

with added criteria:

list of maps to choose from initially determined by admin

last map loaded and/or current map available or not available in the list

voting time

number of maps allowed in a vote - 5, 10, all

nominate feature prior to vote with full list of maps available (option for pm tied with other mods)

auto initiate of vote

who can initiate a vote - first timers, regulars, veterans (option for pm tied with other mods)

threshold for runoff vote - if two maps are close and/or both pass a set number of votes

nextmap check (and broadcast/pm tied in with b3 or other addons maybe?)

 

 

hard to get all that in without a scrollable chat because as you might have noticed those criteria are pretty much how source games do it and rely on a scrolling chat as well as another section or two for display. did i miss anything?

thanks to ipwnu for the ss and help with turning off vote kicking and banning the other night when we saw it abused.

I believe B3 has a votemap plugin somewhere

If you're a server admin I would suggest looking into B3 for the server anyway

hmm so there is.. i now remember seeing it but i guess my subconscious blocked it because of how lacking it is

 

there's also this which i see grasskop has tried but it's not exactly it either

willing to pay for help with making a complete votemap mod within b3 or standalone.
