My server is online, but I tryed to modify certain lines of this file without any result

 

for example

 

set sv_maxPing "10"

I have a ping over that value, however I don't receive any warning

 

set g_inactivitySpectator "1"

set g_inactivity works correclty but set g_inactivitySpectator doesn't work

 

set g_log "games_mp.log"

I changed it (it doesn't have any sense but...) however the log is still on games_mp.log file

 

set iw4m_suicideMsg "1"

How to use that?

 

set sv_floodProtect "3"

the protection doesn't change when I change the value, I have flood protection but it's always the same

 

set scr_player_suicidespawndelay "6"

When I commit suicide, the time to respawn is the same as scr_war_playerrespawndelay "3" (when I play TDM)

 

I couldn't try all commands but some of them work correctly

How does set scr_player_sprinttime "4" work? is it related to the sprint bug for alterrev clients?

 

How can I change the delay between the scoreboard at the end of a map and the star of the following one? in my server it is 30 seconds, too much! I think..

 

set g_voteBanRatio "0.80"

set g_voteKickRatio "0.60"

set g_voteBankMin "4"

set g_voteKickMin "4"

set g_voteBanDelay "30"

set g_voteKickDelay "30"

set g_voteBanLimit "3"

set g_voteKickLimit "3"

Do these commands work? How can we vote in a server as a common users, or we need to start the votation from the server console?

Most of the "non-functioning" commands have a minimum value. Try them typing into the ingame dropdown console (`), and see what they are. Setting anything below the minimum value won't work. iw4m_suicideMsg enables/disables the custom messages when someone suicides (eg. Gave Pigophone a pillow, bought the farm). set scr_player_sprinttime "4" is simply the duration a player can sprint for. For voting, just type /votekick or /voteban . I hope that answered all your questions.
