I freshly downloaded r19 of the iw4m.dll and now I can't play...

The game is starting normally, but if I try to connect to a server, it says the following in the pic.

I have the german version of the gema and translated it means:

""receiving lists

refreshing rank and unlocked objects

successful

connecting with IWnet successful""

 

Please help me...

weird, try re-installing the game and download the files again and make sure they are in the right locations

you were still running aIW i believe... Fresh install from your steam files should've worked perfectly... I'm 99.9% sure there's not that many servers on 4D1 already...

Dang... Already? seemed like just yesterday it was only the IW4M|US, EU, Snipe etc. servers... only like 10 of them by the mods...

Well, have the exact same problem again, but taking a fresh steam version again and redownliading everything doesn't fix it :/

 

EDIT: Placing the old r20 of ia4m.dll has solved it for me this time...
