Couldnt Load Image preview_mp_XXXXXXXX after re-downloaded files?

-You need to delete delete mods and re-download them again.

-Delete the m2demo folder from the MW2 game folder and the launcher folder.

-The main folder must look like this:

1-25 iwds and 7 Localization iwds for every language, and the DLC iwds.

If you re-downloaded mods you need to extract it to Launchers m2demo folder with WinRar or 7-Zip.

Place iwd files will increase the chance of instability of the game.

 

Stuck in the menu with "Connected to IWnet" or something like that

-Make sure there is no any firewall or antivirus software what disable IW4M to the internet.

-delete m2demo folder from launcher and form the main game folder if you don't have any mods.

-If you have any mods you will need to re-download them if you were extract it to m2demo.

-Delete caches.xml file and enjoy the game.

 

You have problem with saving classes or stats?

-Type /resetstats and then /uploadstats to the console, then restart your game.

-If you have level 1 after the restart of the game, download PSE and EAM and import a stat if you want. Remember never import a stat what have the golden skull emblem.

 

-If still won't work, you need to create a new account, your account is bugged, this happened to many people.

Be careful when you try to help, because posting wrong information will have the opposite effect of what you first tried.

1- you don't have to delete the mods folder. Mods are only loaded if called, not on regular game launch.

2- you're not supposed to have any .dll on your "main" folder. Also, the IWDs that you're supposed to have there are iw_00.iwd to iw_23.iwd (it is known that extra IWDs such as iw_25.iwd can crash IW4M). And 8 localized IWDs (localized_english_iw00.iwd to localized_english_iw07.iwd, if it's an english installation).

3- (and most important) you're not supposed to extract mods to m2demo folder, unless you are absolutelly sure of what you're doing. You're supposed to store your mods on "mods" folder and launch them from the main menu, or in-game with "fs_game mods/[modname]" command.

 

I don't blame you for trying to help. In 2 years that I've been by the side of this community, I already did the same mistake as you just did. But beware that when we try to help, we must provide accurate information, or we'll just be creating more problems to the people that we're trying to help.
