So ive come down to the bottom of why I cannot connect to iw4m server, and cant open game.

My dad decided to block all ports on the router except the neccesary ones like 80 (http port ;P).

He did this to stop my brother from playing minecraft all day, but unfortunately it affects iw4m too.

So is there any way to connect through a different port?

Sorry, I hardly know anything about networking, but is there a proxy that I can use that affects my whole computer , not just my internet browser?

or is there a better way to get past the block?

please help me I really want to play again

Not even a proxy will do the work, since the traffic is blocked locally (meaning that you wouldn't even be able to send the information to the proxy).

Anyway, I could tell you to keep a certain button pressed for some 5 to 10 seconds... but no. It wouldn't be right.

What I'm gonna tell you is for you to be a well behaved kid and have a chat with your father.

Now understand that this here is IW4M tech support, and your problem is a family issue.
