I'm at the point that I have my public server up and running, people can join,

I've installed B3 completely and it says it can connect to everything (database/...)

But for some reason, I can't enter a single command except "kick" into my server console.

 

'Admin/Ban/Admintest/Register/Rcon Login/...' , NONE of those seem to be accepted, as it says ]Invalid Command.

 

Does anyone know what causes this or how to fix this problem?

 

Also, how do you set admins on B3? Is it "Bot name" on the config?

in your console?

You use those commands directly in the servers chat; not in the console

 

e.g.: !kick

 

to set admins; use !putgroup

"Kick" is a command that is actually in the game itself.

 

Just use say !kick/!ban whatever to ban the person.

Whenever I use a ! In-game by hitting my 't'-key, Nothing happens.

 

B3 console didn't respond to it, nor did my server-console.

They're just seeing the player type something, but it's not responding to any of the commands.

 

I've tried putting them everywhere, what's wrong?

You're probably using the wrong games_mp.log. Are you running a mod?

Yes, I'm running AIE V1.8.1

BF3 doesn't say there's anything wrong though, + it shows the custom B3 message in-game of my server, so i don't think it's installed wrong

Jerre is right then.

There's a "games_mp.log" being created on your mod's folder. That's the one active while you run the mod on the server.

B3 won't give you any error because it can find another games_mp.log on the folder that you set on b3.xml (probably m2demo).

Edit b3.xml, and on the log file path, change the path to your mod's folder (you'll see that there's a games_mp.log there).

Okay yes, I had the games_mp.log from the main folder.

Btw, what do I enter for bot's name? Because I have been entering my name there for ever.

And Also, I'm giving in cod6 as my game, it's not COd4 is it?

You can use whatever you want as bot name. It's right on the first lines of b3.xml

And yes, the parser is cod6, not cod4.
