i searched if there's any more steam*.dll in folder but there's nothing

how do i fix it? i can't play it?

If you have any steam*.dll files in your Game folder, delete them all EXCEPT FOR steam_api.dll.

Why would you ever delete a .dll from your MW2 folder?

This prevents from some minidumps in a specific error range. But I'd rather clean my game directories up and play in windowed mode the minimize the amount of errors.

Apparantly there's no current fix this. I've had the issue before and deleting steam*.dll's fixed it for me. Only other thing I can suggest is a full-reinstall of MW2/4D1.
