PLS HELP - Could not join game session problem

Опубликовано:

Hi. So basically, me and my brother got FourDeltaOne installed today, we got ourselves Gee's mod for menu and so on. We could play 1-2 rounds, with him having extreme lags. After these rounds, he couldn't connect to me as he got message saying "Could not join game session". Also, I tried joining him, same thing. I downloaded your official FIX, even started Internet server, that failed to work too. We both have legit MW2, and we made a copy of folder of legit one.

If LAN doesn't work ,is there any 3d party software I can use? If so, please say which. Thanks.

We are able to play any other game in LAN or over Internet together. We played Call of Duty UO, 2, 4 and MW2 over LAN, also Battlefield 2.

I am not sure if my router would have to do anything with this, as it allows us to play any game other than FOURDELTAONE in LAN.

What should I do?

I don't understand you, what do you want to know about my network? We have two PCs connected by Home(Local) network, when we play legit MW2, it says our NAT is Strict. Tell me exactly what do you need to know.

Firewall and anti-virus software off?

Did you try using Hamachi?

I checked Firewall, it was already added as exception. Also, I have Avast which is disabled for some time now. We also tried Hamachi, it doesn't work.

Thank you for help everyone, but this just has no reason or anything, I really can't find what could be problem. Please, if you think of anything that you think might help, write it so we can try.

Thanks! :)

P.S. I've seen just now in FAQ for 4D1; it says this for (22)LAN: There is currently NO WAY to do this without using 3rd Party Software.

What does it mean? It is impossible to play this over LAN even though we both have legit games and are connected to internet?

As long as you're both connected to the internet, it's fine.

Are you sure you're connecting to the correct internal ip?

Guys stop plzzz, who said there is no way to play LAN without 3rd party softwares?

simple steps

1.create a dedicated server as in the tutorial on this site

2.launch the game both

3.press the "~" boutton to open the console

4.type in "connect 192.168.1.x" (where 192.168.1.x is the ip adress of the host")

second easy steps

1.launch the game both

2.the host enter in PRIVATE MATCH and configure the game as u want

3.for the clients press the "~" boutton to open the console

4.type in "connect 192.168.1.x" (where 192.168.1.x is the ip adress of the host")

those steps work well evertime. but you must be on the same local area network.
