I just downloaded and installed MW2 and the 4D1 client, but it didn't start up. At first, I found that the client went to AppData/Local instead of my game folder, and I moved the contents of the client folder to my game, but now when I open LaunchIW4M.exe, it just shows up in the processes, but doesn't start up. When I try to close the process, task manager tells me that "The operation is not valid for this process." I checked the thread with the common errors, and I couldn't find this. I have all the necessary files that are required. I can provide more info if necessary.

The files were supposed to be copied to your appdata folder.

This makes sure that your (probably) steam game files are untouched.

Reinstall it please by using the autoinstaller again.

Thanks. I reinstalled the client and the game and then copied a binkw32.dll to the IW4M folder in AppData.
