I've been trying to play for the last couple of hours. I tried restarting the client, simply waiting, and I looked for the answer in the common problems/questions thread. I deleted all of files that start with "steam" the steam_api.dll as said in viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4144 (#19).

 

The message I get after the game crashes: "Fatal error (0xc0000005) at 0x4eb31fbc.

A minidump has been written to iw4m-3.0-104-20120809184606.dmp."

You need steam_api.dll..

Yea... I meant to say "...except for steam_api.dll" I didn't delete that file. But I did "reinstall" the game and it looks like it's working. Thanks for the help.
