[Help] Black dots in my games/applications!

Featured Replies

Опубликовано:

Before you ask, yes, I've Google'd it. And there were only results for a game known as 'dots and boxes' ._.

So, problem is, I've recently built a new system, except the graphics card is the same for now. In all my 3D applications (Max Payne 3, TF2...) there are little black dots in my game, I've got the newest drivers by the way.

Does anybody have an idea to why this is happening?

GPU's an NVIDIA GTS 250 1GB

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: All games are up to date, and are original.

Maybe screenshot this thing?

Tried, it isn't visible. And it's not the monitor, tried 3 different one's.

GPU updated?

Unless NVIDIA updated the drivers a couple of minutes ago, yes. It's running the newest drivers.

I think I actually found out what it was.

Seems like I had my GPU overclocked a bit too much, set it to the default settings, seems to work now.

I'll have to find a stable overclock then. Weird though, when I had my old PC, I had the same OC settings and this problem didn't occur.

Well, thanks for trying to help.
