Hi, I just installed the game mod to play on these servers (which are awesome by the way). However, I'd like to play with my steam name and account which have my stats from the original game, not the one registered here. Is it possible?

 

Edit: Forgot to mention that I added the .exe to the library but it turned out to be a shortcut only. Was hoping it would launch under steam credentials. However, it didn't.

name is not colored ingame anyway

 

You can color it in steam. When your name appears in the box with the picture and emblem it can be colored.

Mine was ^2Ch^7e^1c^7h^2en ^0Rebel

Its a colored name. I dont see the need to be an attention whore. Besides, no one in IW4M uses colored names (Dont think it works.) and for that reason, why would you need one.

I don't need it colored. It was just nice to have. Attention whoring? Everyone had colored names on steam, no one cared. It was just a personal preference.

 

Oh and its not in the menu that mattered, it was inside the box with the emblem and title that counts lol.

For example when you take an objective or score a multikill and the box shows on the upper-right hand corner. Looked like a nice addition
