I got MW2 on the day of release, and I still play the legit version. I just noticed NTAuthority got some progress on the project. I am willing to install it any moment, but I host hacked lobbies and don't want to get VAC banned by the new project.

 

In short: Can I get VAC banned running the vanilla game while having the new project installed?

I'm pretty sure this question was asked 1243 times and answered, if you bother to look.

Thank you, I just ran a test of iw4m.exe, it's saying I don't have the game, my guess right now is that it's a common issue throughout the community.

I just put the program in through steam and it launched just fine.
