so the thing is, i dont have the beta key but i downloaded the dlc files and thought of trying them out by playing a private match. whenever i click on a bonus map, the game doesnt run. but whenever i set a non bonus map, the game runs perfectly.

Are you sure you put the downloaded files correctly? You need to copy everything from the /main/ folder and paste in you MW3's /main/ folder. Then copy everything in the /dlc/ folder and paste in you /zone/dlc folder

well.. i did everything perfectly. all the new map files (.ff) i put it in zone- dlc. and all the other files in the main folder (.iwd). ... as said in the ready up forum

there was no error...didnt say anything. i had teknomw3 before, and i copied these files over the tekno files. thats it. and one more question man..if u can help. how can we play survival on these maps. To start the game, you people click on "launch IW5M.exe" ..right ??

how do you start the game. by clicking "iw5mp.exe or "launchiw5m.exe' ?

and yeah...i dont have the legit copy but bypassed it by creating the "dw" folder as mentioned in other forums.

I'm not advising to install dedicated server. What you should do is update your game files through steam tools as the MW3 Dedicated server files are base files of the game. Then redownload all necessary files from the Ready Up thread. And last, enjoy gaming
