im using IW5M r20 client and server

im trying also to setup a little home_server for me and some friends

what ever port setting we use there is no LAN connection possible to the dedicated server

ofc i can run a cod4 ,cod5, mw2 and mw3(orginal server) and connect them perfectly well on LAN and Internet

all the necessary ports tcp/udp are forwarded and not blocked by any firewall

server is showing up on the server_status site but not connectable thru LAN

it seems to me that this is the developers fault, I have the same thing on vps

Update Date/Time with the Internet Time Server on your OS

Works now.

This was found recently, but as long as it's written, you just have to see it...

If you're sure that the ports are forwarded, then this is most probably your problem.

I had the same problem but when i removed +set net_authPort 8766 from my shortcut it worked.

ok Lan is working now for me

im changed IW5m.dat to IW5m.exe created a shortcut

and in the shortcut command line added +connect :27015
