Hello guys.. First of all i just want to say im very glad i found out 4D1 as the "new" AlterIW..

But i just joined here im kinda confused and cant seem to find the answers to the question i have.. Ive been searching the forums here but didnt find an answer to my question so my point is dont get mad with me bcoz i cant find the answer anywhere here..

 

To be able to play at 4D1 do i need a legit (to buy) MW2 CD or whatev? i know the thing about the files i need to download and put in the folder blah blah but idk if i need a legit MW2 cd.. I mean if i have the pirated one (downloaded) and still apply the files will it work or will i have to put it in my steam folder or whatev? or the only way is to actually buy the game?

The only way you will be able to play the game is by having it on Steam. If you buy MW2 in your local shop, or buy a key, you'll have to register it through steam. So 4D1 is a paid service. No excuses or exceptions.
