Turning an external HDD into an internal HDD.

Опубликовано:

I just bought a 500 GB HDD made by Acer. Cost me about RM200 (divide it by 2.5 for USD currency). I decided to use it mainly for recording gameplay and putting all of my animes there. But since using the USB cable is darn slow for recording, I thought I might ask this before doing it. Can I turn my external into an internal HDD?

Do you have a cross headed screw driver?

Do you know the name of the HDD?

Do you know how to google ''how to open [name of external HDD here]''?

Do you know how to install a HDD in a PC?

Yes? Then you're ready to go.

just use usb 3.0 and if you dont have that then get a motherboard that does because they dont cost much.

Because €40 motherboards are decent.

No. Decent motherboards start from €90 (which is a lot if you have to buy your own stuff) and it wouldn't work anyway because the converter from the external HDD might not even support USB 3.0.
