I am just though that i would ask but will there ever be a 4D1 Ops? i know that there maybe a legal problem if that was the case for AlterOps but people tell me that AlterIWnet got taken down because of AlterMW3 and not AlterOps can someone let me know if this was the case.

you know its true the steam version of black ops is just bad in general because of all the poorly hosted servers by www.gayservers.com and all the corner campers and having to pay 15$ for DLC that is barely even good as it is.

The real reason AIW was created was to add dedicated servers and other features that it was lacking... not crack it for little kiddies who don't have $60 to spend on a game. If you want cracked Black Ops screw off.

ya i just added him on xfire so if he wants to fight it out on there then he can go a head and do so but i am not doing this drama BS on the forum.

There is no reason to do a 4D1 Ops. But there are reasons to NOT do one.

3. Black Ops already has modding tools.

4. The C&D letter.

5. Black Ops is pretty much balanced.

 

And IMO:

6. Black Ops gets boring after ~2 months.

I've had this idea, and it worked before, ive stolen the black ops maps files and ported them to MW, used the devmap command, and PRESTO! Nuke town in IW4M. (maybe some other coder like apadyo would do something like this.)
