Ping the server list is very low, but when I'm in the game it is very high! Lots of lag on the servers.

lag with servers depends on the ping with the server that you play in

not 4D1 server

LOL you say that something unusual....I play IW5 on Russian servers. On their servers!

Your ping in-game won't be the same as your browser/raw ping.

In-game the number fluctuates based on game data and your framerate because it piggybacks on packets sent with game information. In the browser, it's independent of all of that and more of a straight /ping.

Join a server by yourself and your ping will be lower than when you join that same server with 11 other players in it. It's just how data flows and servers can't be 100% efficient.

For more examples, it's easier to look at MW4 or WaW because the console is more versatile in those. There are quite a few commands that will drop your ping displayed in-game, even if they tend to knock your client out of sync and screw up hitreg. You can also go the other way and jack your ping up as well.

Be grateful. At least you HAVE servers with pings below 200. I can't play on most 4D1 servers as they all have 250 pings and above from my location.
