Stats don't save

Didn't find this problem in the common errors topic.

My stats aren't saving, so when I level, then exit the game, and then restart the game, I'm again level 1.

Thanks for this great mod btw.

Since you are stuck at level 1, try making a different account and use that one. The NP server might have taken a dislike to your account.

Are you using an account without Administrator rights, with the game installed in Program Files (x86)?

Your account might not have permission to write to that folder, so you would never be able to save config changes or stats.

Though an Administrator account would have been needed to get IW5M working in the first place. :?:

It doesn't need the rights to write anything, all stats are directly uploaded to the NP server at the end of the match and afaik there is no save on the disk.

Don't try to level hack then. That only occurs on that.

I wasn't doing that, I never understood why people do that. Levelling is half of the fun in CoD IMHO ;)

I did that, it worked. Problem solved!

I thought of that too, and I ran it as an Admin every time. Didn't work.

Okay so that problem is gone, but now I have another question. In-game steam community doesn't work anymore. It's really weird because it did work 1 hour ago, now it doesn't anymore....

And another thing, favourites in the server browser doesn't work? Is that still in development or a fault on my part?

Thanks!

No idea about the steam community thingy, maybe a steam restart would do the trick.

The favorites and history tabs are still in development.

Okay, I didn't know that.

I expected it to write to a local copy and then sync that file with the NP server at the end of the match, instead of keeping it exclusively in RAM.

Good to know.
