So your friend can join by using connect command but he cant join by using serverlist? Correct

As the title says. I have my server setup, all working well, but people can't join through the serverlist. They get that "awaiting connection attempt #1,2,3" thing. But, if my friend joins it by IP, he can connect. How can I fix this? MAD.
