I was talking about the Steam version. Why do you think a HD resolutions should have a smaller chat font? It was a bug, it is fixed now. Normal resolutions do have this huge chat since ever. It was a bug? Does it really matter? And I believe "HD" resolutions have a smaller chat text size because the whole picture itself is larger and in comparison makes the chat size appear smaller. If you are running a monitor or TV at 1920x1080 (unless you have a really crappy setup) the normal chat is just fine so smaller resolutions don't have a huge chat so much as a tiny video area in relation to the chat. It is not a 'bug' and forcing a change for everyone a certain way to one person's preference without option is not 'fixing' anything. If anything they should at least ask if you want to change it first. Please go be ignorant somewhere else. Also, personally I find that the HUD size not changing with the resolution as a bug..I would much prefer it to become smaller and more crisp with the other stuff on the screen.

The cursor honestly is ok, it's not that big of a problem really, it mostly just seems really weird imo but I really hate the text chat. I understand that it's not the same as the unmodified steam version but I hate that one. Too many cheaters, laggy hosts, minimal adjustments (I use /sensitivity to adjust and get a constant sensitivity and in the steam versions I literally have to go into the game config files and adjust it there to until I get the game playable). But the text chat is a valid concern, to me at least because it gets very distracting and blocks off much more of the screen than is necessary. If they could give a simple console command to revert or even just a recommend a larger size, it would be fine but I hate annoyances like that. Again, this is PC, not XBOX. Also I like the new maps, and Nuketown is fun on IW4M, but the text chat nearly ruins it for me -.- I'll probably end up setting chatheight to 0, idk.

Ok first off I play in 1920x1080 and I prefer my things smaller and better fit on the screen, if I wanted the HUGEEEE chat text in-game, I would instead play at 800x600..... It looks hideous, gets distracting and is harder to read because instead of being more one-line posts, they go to 2 or 3 or even 4 or more per post and cover up a lot of space on the screen (for me at least). Also the cursor is kinda ugly. It's ok but I prefer the old one. I might try to replace the original file back if I can, I dunno it's not that important.. But seriously, do the devs just play in like 800x600 and don't test other resolutions or do they just try to shove that huge ugly distracting text on everyone else intentionally? I've tried looking up commands in the console but can't find anything to fix it. If someone could at least give me a command to fix? even if i have to enter it on every startup I honestly don't care, I hate it. If I wanted to play on console where you're forced to have the game one way with no settings other than control layouts and screen safe area, I'd just play XBOX.. -.-' It was enough to make me wanna come here to write this up 99% for that sole purpose so it annoys me quite a lot. I don't really care about my grammar here, I just want my game back the way it was before that last update I got..

how do i delete the corrupted data? (ive tried /uploadStats several times..) i could just import it in from the Steam version..

Even if I try to change my callsign/emblem or buy & change my killstreak rewards, as soon as i join a server, its all reset...plz help..>.>

The thing is, EAM worked fine when I imported the first time, & when I imported my stats on Steam before, but even when I DO import my stats into 4D1 now (any stats, even /resetStats) & it reverts whenever i join a server (& /resetStats when i restart 4D1). I import and it doesn't even save as I'm joining a server; as soon as I'm in, I'm back at square one, which is the old stats I don't want..

No, i just did /resetStats, filtered legacy servers off, joined the lowest ping server up, finished a match, played the next & left after that when the next one loaded. Then I restarted 4D1 & my rank was reverted yet again.

I played on the LETHAL OVERDOSE server..not sure about aRev or not..
