Do you get any errors when loading the server? Nah it loads fine but it refuses to show on the server browser, Did you get yours up too? ^^ Your own server won't show in the Server Browser, because you're hosting it of same pc. to connect you will need to open console with ` and type ''connect (your local ip:port) enter that's how i connect to my server Would that mean I alone would be able to connect to my server. Even if I gave my friends that IP I doubt they would connect because it's local.. right?

Isn't it "I" instead of 1. :roll: EDIT: Nevermind I think I got it working, but it's not showing up in the server browser, Should forward the ports or something? ^^ Yes 28968 is the default port And if you add "-dedicated" it works Just testing from my side to see if I can connect to the server Forwarded but still not in the server browser :/ Open NAT and everything. sigh :S

Figured it was too good to be true, I keep getting: Fatal error (0xc0000005) at 0x004f2cc2. A minidump has been written to iw4m-3.0-13-20120413071153.dmp. Possible typo? If it were cancelled wouldn't NTA tell us? But so far that I've read I think it really is cancelled, but NTA didn't specifically say whether he would continue or not... did he? :oops:

i prefer matchmaking so i can play in a party with my friends and all be on the same team...but i also like dedi servers cause of the mods and the browser Though it can be tedious, you can just send your friends the server IP for them to join for dedi servers. Or make your own server even But even that lobby and inviting thing has its own problems, like where it just hangs on "Connecting to game attempt #99"

Why go with matchmaking when dedicated servers are so much better? You can connect to them so much faster, the mods are quite good and with this "new&improved" server browser, we can do some hardcore filtering with the servers xD. No thanks to IWNet of course. :mrgreen:

What if you want to copy your steam stats over to alter, does that work as well?

I know it sounds like a stupid question with it being KIA and all, but I applied the "alter Revolution" patch a few days ago and was working fine. But now, it just hangs on "Connecting to IWNet..." Does anyone else have this? or are some of you still playing and keeping secrets :3
