If it goes away after a while then it's just a startup crash with the .exe itself.. Meaning..?

None of this has worked for me and it doesn't go away in about 15 minutes. It goes away after a few hours, if i'm lucky. Please help!

My game crashes randomly after a random period of time. When I try to launch it again, it gives me the error "iw4m.exe has stopped working". It used to be "iw4m.dat has stopped working" until I deleted all .iwd files from main and m2demo. I tried reinstalling, which helped me none. I deleted the caches.xml file. As I said, i had deleted all the recommended files already. The game crashes randomly and won't work for a while.

So. I had the "iw4m.dat has stopped working" error. I deleted the necessary files from main and m2demo. It still doesn't work, but the error has changed. It now says "iw4m.exe has stopped working". What should I do now?

I'd done all of that to no end. But it appears, that the problem has fixed itself. i do not know what that was or how it got fixed, but it's Ok now. Thanks for your help everyone!

I've got crash dumps for days, if they help you. There's not really much to say. I thought, at first, this was happening because of modifying iw4m.dll for the clantags, but reinstalling the game completely helped me none. EDIT: Restarting the game fixes it for a while. But in a random amount of time the game will crash and won't launch again giving me the error.

Nothing worked. It now says iw4m.exe has stopped working.
