I wanted to let you know that i have just donated to show that i appreciate your work. Please keep up the good work and never stop listening to the community. And to the community. Support the 4d1 staff in any way you can. They deserve that. They need that. Show them you are grateful for doing what Activision refuses to.

You need to delete iw4.ini in your game folder (sometimes in users/username/appdata/local/IW4M/) as stated above. Its the file saves your account info when you click that tiny box on login

1) Extra anticheat measures. Ex. a small, light resource client comes with 4d1 launcher that takes screenshots from clients in intervals and sends it to the server. Works like uac in a way. 2) More game types, maps, weapons, perks. I hate the idea of DLCs only offer maps and lack the rest content. 3) More stable server, more customization options. Ex. Some dvar settings aren't being read from cfg atm, u need to type them as launch commands.

My game was runnig perfect for the last 2 weeks and 2 days ago all of a sudden started to give me that errror. What i did was change the iw4m.dll with the one on the FAQ post here and also figured my playclaw teamspeak overlay crashs it too so also i close that when i run the game. So make you sure you don't run any overlays or other games, apps, videos in the background that may use directx, direct3d etc. Also try the second .dll on the mentioned post if first does not work.

When i get that, i just quit and run the game again. Problem solved.
