The only way to do it would be to use an external program which enters the command on a binded button. It MIGHT lead to a ban though...so just play with a standard FOV rather than changing it to a different value every match.

Why would a program that changes non-cheat dvars lead to a ban?

I don't know much about that stuff, that's why I said "might".

Well, the official FOV changer doesn't support IW5, and is allowed by Steam and Infinity.

I don't think another external FOV changer exist, actually.

Maybe this method isnt quick for you enough but you can add/change seta cg_fov "80" (values from 65 to 90 I guess) in your config_mp.cfg (players2 folder).

yeah but isnt it a lot quicker to just type it in the console? :D

I dont use console because I got set "Read Only" on config file so... You know ;)

I don't think another external FOV changer exist, actually.

They do work.

People just keep forgetting about the process name.

open your config_mp.cfg

and find "bind W"

(looks like this by default: bind W "+forward")

now change it so it looks like this:

bind W "+forward;cg_fov 80;cg_fovscale 1.125"
