Removing OMA entirely wouldn't solve anything. It's a great perk for LMGs. Noobtubes on the other hand are something the game would do well without.

There's a couple of ways to fix the OMA tubing problem while keeping it as potent as it is now.

 

1) Make it so that OMA does not allow you to switch to classes with underslung grenade launchers.

 

2) OMA, upon switching to a grenade launcher class, does not resupply the grenade launcher. Your GL ammo is the same as it is when you switch classes. So if you still have both tubes left, you retain that ammo. But if you spend both rounds and then switch classes, that's it, and you're spent on grenades until you respawn.

 

3) OMA does not allow you to switch to the same loadout as the one you are currently spawned with. This is perhaps not as viable an option, as this will inhibit a player using OMA to resupply his LMG. That is not the kind of player we want to punish. Also, it will just double the ammo resupply time for a noobtube class. Inherently, the problem will perhaps remain. So I'd say stick to options 1 and 2.
