Hey guys

I just wanted to ask you something. If I patch MW2 with 4D1, can I still play the steam version? Or do I need 2 separate MW2 folders?

Because I've 2 folders at the moment, but that takes too much hard drive space, ya know...

4D1 will work in the steam folder too.

and you can still run steam (which I don't understand why you would want to)

4D1 = iw4m.exe

Steam = iw4mp.exe

 

Simples!

I copied my MW2 folder outside of the Steam folder to be safe, even though the two don't interact with each other. Also, if IW suddenly decided to patch MW2 and IW4M isn't compatible with it, that could cause an issue if they are both in the same folder.
