When operating my 4D1 server, aRev people are unable to join. They try and connect but eventually are kicked out. I have made my server with slow motion killcam (Don't ask me how, I'm not telling you), which may have caused problems with aRev, but one other person has a slow motion killcam on their aRev server. Please help, I don't like having to only record cams with Fraps on my aRev server and I would very much like to demo with perfect slow motion.

so basically we should tell you why your script is not working with arev clients without knowing the code?

btw i think there is already a release for slomo-killcams here so who needs your mod anyways?

The Mod probably has functions which only 4D1 has, not aRev.

Be glad that arev clients can't join. A lot of people would like to be able to keep those aCI evaders out, but they don't know how.

Now an answer to your question... "arev client" is a bad copy of our game client. It's most probably crashing because "their" game client doesn't properly support our mod scripting methods.

Of course it's a mod, as it's some kind of modification. Also, apart from the fact that it takes 1 click to evade a manu ban on arev, most of them hide it pretty well..

What error do the legacy players get?

I'd also be happy that some people of aRev are kept out. aCI Dodgers and Ban Dodgers that come from aRev are the worst you can really get.
