"Could not reach the fourdeltaone.net server. Error code from CURL: 7.

 

I start the exe and the login window comes and i write my account name and passwort. than comes the error i which i describes above.

How can i fix it?

curl error 7 is can't connect to host

which means

the server hasn't forwarded their TCP port

 

So I'm guessing try disabling your Anti-Virus (or adding exceptions to both AV and firewall) and/or restarting your modem

If you have Windows 7, you can easily search for the firewall option. And then you can allow the exe to allow a connection with the internet.

i just added the rules to the windows 7 firewall

and added exception in my eset anti virus

and tried to open the game with both the firewall and the anti virus disabled and didn't work

now i'm gonna try to reinstall

oh well, you got me. Less than half of half of half of half (1/8) people get this error... The fix is, open up your connection. Something is blocking it from accessing internet. Try disabling AVG firewall if you have it. Also, try putting your PC in a DMZ.

and iw4m used to work perfectly

but i didn't open the game for a couple of weeks

and a few days ago i did

and it updated it self

either fourdeltaone is blocking syrian users

or my stupid ISP (In syria) is blocking fourdeltaone

my isp is the one that belongs to the government

i'll have my friend test the game on his Private ISP

and see

i got the game to open while HOTSPOTSHeild is connected

But of course i'm getting shitty pings on servers

however after game open i disable hopspotshild and i refresh and get good ping from servers

any thoughts
