No misjudge at all, I'm not one of those who feel offended on everything, unless it is a direct insult and I will never rage because of another post, with some exceptions, like SOTGAN amd people who are native English speakers and write like they are cavemen.

Also, pedantic would mean a book-worm, know-it-all, a person that is smart in general but not creative and just does everything by the books. Shallow can have quite a few meanings, ranging from someone only caring about physique when searching for a partner to just be lacking pretty much anything. That heavily depends on the context though.
