how can i not have the proper dlc files when i got them from the website that was shown in the tutorials. I got all of them dlc 1,2,3

.iwd files go into "main" folder and .ff files go into zone\dlc

i did all that just as instructed in the tutorial but maps still arent working

If you do a Steam check, Terminal will work for sure.

You reinstalled your game which removed your DLCs :roll: reinstall the DLCs again.

Alright guys thanks for the support maps have been working ok i guess but now im getting server connection timed out on all servers lol i dont know whats going on.

at least im not posting multiple different topics about this, i mean thanks for the help and all but if im playing on a map other then terminal why does the mp_terminal error pop up.

Ok, there's an easy way for you to find out what might be missing.

Install this small application -> http://code.kliu.org/hashcheck/

Then go here -> viewtopic.php?f=26&t=8457 and download the attached "IW5M.zip"

Extract the file IW5M.md5 to your IW5M folder and double click it.

That will compare the hashes of the files that you have with the hashes of the files that you should have.

Any missing file will show up on yellow, and damaged files will show up on red.

Post here the result of the check.

alright did the check and showing in red is and thats it shows nothing about terminal and that is the only map i have a problem with

Then they might be corrupt. In any scenario, re-download them.

You're downloading from the wrong source then. That image that you're missing is part of iw_33.iwd

Note what has been written before:

Start steam, go to Tools, download IW5 dedicated server

 

a perfect, clean install that is updated will be downloaded to steaw/steamapps/common/IW5

 

Then just apply 4d1 files there

That's the best way for you to get the right iw_33 and iw_34

Keep IW5M.md5, so that you know what might be missing the next time
