Non-action? Since you are in the UK, you can make something about colonial britain and slavery :3

"Pride is a feeling of satisfaction which you have because you or people close to you have done something good or possess something good. " Basiclly a bukake would fit fine you can make this a film and it's a satisfying group stuff

Doesn't quite matter I think, it's up to you to define 'pride'.

My other friends thought of UK Olympics, pride of school, etc., but I would like an 'out of the box' idea more...

2-4 minutes, would prefer meaningful storyline, not a shoot-up or zombie film.
